Pine Needles employees had the luxury of trying out the newest way to get around the greens: the Golf Board. Set up like a skateboard, this new form of transportation can go just as fast as a golf cart. The inspiration behind the Golf Board was to get a workout while you're driving from hole to hole. The Golf Board works your core muscles as you try to maintain your balance on it.

Fitness Center

Pine Needles Fitness Center 

Available to Members and Guests 

Pine Needles is pleased to offer a state of the art gym for all Members of the Club as well as Guests of the hotel. The Fitness Center over looks our in-ground swimming pool, as well as a glimpse of the Pine Needles Golf Course. Our gym is equipped with cardio equipment, weight training tools, and stretching machines. There is also a section dedicated to working on  your swing. Come by and check it out, you can always ask for a quick tour!

National Ice Cream Day

We all scream for ice cream! Come celebrate one of the sweetest days of the year with us- National Ice Cream Day. Our Executive Chef, Peter Hamm has created this delightful and refreshing treat for Sunday. Our special will feature vanilla ice cream, chocolate mousse, and fresh strawberries all topped with chocolate syrup and whipped cream in a mason jar. 

You can pick up one of these adorable desserts at either Pine Needles or Mid Pines restaurants for $6.00. Enjoy! 

FCA Golf Camp

Pine Needle's is pleased to be hosting the FCA Golf TobyMac Junior Golf Camp. This camp is designed to create an environment where teenagers learn about and experience the challenge and adventure of living in a relationship with Jesus Christ, while also improving their golf skills. Their curriculum for the week includes:

Youth Golfari

Tuesday's Youth Golfari

Despite the hot weather, Tuesday's Youth Golfari was jam packed with outdoor fun. The kids started their day with their daily putting, followed by golf instruction. After lunch the kids went out to play the course and put their new knowledge to good use. After dinner all of the campers went on a resort wide scavenger hunt. It's been an exciting couple of days at Pine Needles!

2014 Youth Golfari Junior Camp

The 2014 Youth Golfari is off to a wonderful start. The kids arrived on Sunday and have been having fun ever since. Every morning they wake up early to have a large buffet breakfast as a group, followed by a golf lesson. Each afternoon you can hear the cheers and laughter coming from the game room and main dining room. Even after a day out in the heat, they still have the energy for a quick game of ping pong after lunch. Every night after dinner the kids head to the pool for a mini pool party with snacks. The best part about Junior Camp is the smile on each kids face as they walk through the hallways of our facility. We love Youth Golfari!

Facebook Contest

"Where in the Sandhills is PKB"

For July we will be holding a month long Facebook Contest. Every Thursday at 9:00am the Pine Needles-Mid Pines Facebook page will post a picture of Flat Peggy (cardboard cutout) somewhere in the Sandhills and we want you to guess where she is. Voting will close at 1:00pm. Everyone who voted correctly will be entered into a drawing for a prize, winners are announced between 5:00-6:00pm every Thursday.

You must 'Like' the Pine Needles-Mid Pines Facebook page in order to enter the contest.
